Maldives Vacations

A thousand coral islands, water in shades that don't look real, and resorts where your villa stands directly over the lagoon — the Maldives is the world's benchmark for barefoot luxury.

Maldives Vacations — 01

Choosing Your Island

Every Maldives resort occupies its own private island, so choosing the resort is choosing your entire world for the week. Seaplane-access islands offer the wildest reefs; speedboat-access islands mean less transit after your long flight. We match island personality — romantic, lively, family, diving — to yours.

Maldives Vacations — 02

Overwater vs Beach Villa

Overwater villas deliver the iconic ladder-into-the-lagoon experience; beach villas offer more space, direct sand and often lower rates. Many couples split the week between both — our favourite recommendation for first visits.

Getting There From Canada

From Vancouver, one-stop routings via Dubai, Doha or Singapore reach Malé in roughly 20–24 hours. We time arrivals to daylight for the seaplane transfer — itself one of the most beautiful flights on earth.

All Inclusive or Half Board

In a destination where every meal happens at your resort, meal plans matter enormously. Premium all inclusive plans covering fine dining and drinks frequently beat à-la-carte spending — we run the math per resort before you commit.

When To Go

November through April is the dry season with glassy lagoons; May through October brings brief showers, better surf and significantly lower rates. Manta and whale-shark encounters at certain atolls peak in the shoulder months.

Questions — 06

Asked, answered.

How expensive is the Maldives really?

Wildly variable — beautiful four-star islands start near $450/night while icons run $2,000+. With flights, most Canadian couples budget $8,000–$18,000 for a week.

Is the Maldives only for honeymooners?

Not anymore — several islands now excel at family travel with kids' clubs and gentle lagoons, and diving-focused islands attract travellers of every kind.

Do I need a visa?

Canadians receive a free 30-day visa on arrival with a valid passport and onward ticket.

Is it safe?

Resort islands are among the safest destinations we sell — private, gated by ocean, with attentive staff.

Can you combine Maldives with another stop?

Dubai, Singapore and Sri Lanka pair naturally with the flight routing — two vacations in one itinerary.

What about seaplane transfers?

Daylight-only, scenic and included in most quotes; we always confirm transfer type and cost before you book, as they vary widely by island.
