India Vacations

From Punjab family visits to the Taj at dawn and Kerala's backwaters — India is the trip we book more than almost any other, for a community that knows exactly what good service looks like.

India Vacations — 01

Family Visits, Done Properly

For Surrey and the Fraser Valley, India travel usually starts with family — Amritsar, Delhi, Chandigarh, Jalandhar. We know the routings from YVR inside out: which connections through Delhi actually work with checked bags, when fares to Amritsar spike around wedding season, and how to book multi-city itineraries that land you close to home villages instead of a five-hour taxi away. Group bookings for extended families travelling together are our daily bread.

The Golden Triangle & Beyond

Delhi's layered chaos, Agra's Taj Mahal at sunrise, Jaipur's pink forts — the classic first circuit, best done with private drivers and guides who turn monuments into stories. Beyond it: Udaipur's lake palaces, Varanasi's ghats at dawn, and Amritsar's Golden Temple, which moves even travellers who've seen everything.

Kerala, Goa & The Softer South

South India is a different country in the best way — houseboat nights on Kerala's backwaters, Ayurvedic retreats, Goa's beaches and Portuguese lanes, hill stations wrapped in tea. It pairs beautifully as the restful second act after the north's intensity, and it's where we send honeymooners and anyone whose India trip should end slower than it began.

Weddings & Celebrations in India

Marrying in India — or flying forty guests there for one? We coordinate group airfare from YVR, hotel blocks near the venue, inter-city travel for the baraat, and the buffer days Indian wedding schedules always end up needing. We also plan the reverse: honeymoons that start the morning after a Punjab wedding, from Udaipur to the Maldives.

Practicalities From YVR

Canadians need an Indian visa — the e-visa handles tourism for most travellers, while OCI holders travel on their card; we'll flag which applies and the current processing realities before you book. October through March is prime weather across most of the country; book winter-holiday and wedding-season fares 4–6 months out, because the Vancouver–Punjab corridor sells out earlier every year.

Questions — 06

Asked, answered.

When are flights to India cheapest from Vancouver?

Shoulder months — September–early October and February–April — typically price best; December weddings-and-holidays peak is the most expensive corridor of the year.

Can you book multi-city India trips?

It's our specialty — into Amritsar, out of Delhi, with Kerala or Goa in between, all on one ticket.

Do you handle visas and OCI questions?

We flag exactly what your situation requires and point you to the official channels — no surprises at the airport.

Is India good for first-time visitors?

Wonderful with the right structure — private drivers, well-chosen hotels and a paced itinerary make all the difference; we build exactly that.

Can you arrange group travel for weddings in India?

Yes — group fares, hotel blocks and guest coordination for wedding parties travelling from BC is something we do constantly.

What's the best first India itinerary?

Golden Triangle plus Amritsar for most; add Kerala if you have two weeks — we'll shape it to your family ties and pace.
